The backstory
From 2016 to 2019, I had the opportunity to travel and surf in 80+ tourist destinations in Latin America while buying real estate for a hotel company.
During these travels I witnessed firsthand how rapidly small surf towns transformed, and how quickly real estate values increased. I developed a real estate philosophy that instead of complex excels tables, one should just follow the surfers for great investment returns.

After coming close to purchasing a dream home in Baja California I realized I didn't want to be tied down to just one wave, one home, and one big maintenance headache. That's when the idea for Swell Equity Co. was created - a way to invest in multiple up-and-coming surf destinations with the flexibility to move between them and enjoy unique vacations with my family.
Swell Homes was born out of this philosophy, offering homes exclusively designed for surfers who want to invest in real estate and ride waves.
